It is with great anticipation that PRESTON HOLLOW DEMOCRATS looks forward to welcoming our own Lupe Valdez, Sheriff of Dallas County, to be with us again to share a 2011 updated summary of her work and the improvements which have been made to the Sheriff's department this past year. She has started a number of new initiatives which have resulted in starkly improved conditions for both inmates and staff at the Courthouse Jail. It will also be a time for us to renew membership on her re-election campaign team.

The panel will include several esteemed local political figures, including former State Representative Robert Miklos, as well as presenter Dennis Simon, Altshuler Distinguished Teaching Professor, Department of Political Science - SMU.
