It is with great anticipation that PRESTON HOLLOW DEMOCRATS looks forward to welcoming our own Lupe Valdez, Sheriff of Dallas County, to be with us again to share a 2011 updated summary of her work and the improvements which have been made to the Sheriff's department this past year. She has started a number of new initiatives which have resulted in starkly improved conditions for both inmates and staff at the Courthouse Jail. It will also be a time for us to renew membership on her re-election campaign team. We may be going nuts with some of the shenanigans in Washington DC but all we have to do is go downtown to see a bright spot in the political area locally,
