2011-0607 Dallas County Commissioners District Map

Dallas County approved a new commissioner district map on June 6, 2011, which makes significant changes, particularly in the Lake Highlands area, which is now part of a Democratic leaning opportunity district.

The numbers on the districts also flipped, meaning that Preston Hollow is now part of Commissioner District 2, represented by Mike Cantrell, while Lake Highlands for the most part is included in the new Commissioner District 1, represented for now by Marine Dickey, who has announced that she will not be running for re-election in 2012.
